An anonymised string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.
Contact forms
We use jotform.net to generate contact forms which are used for bookings and general enquiries.
We only use your form data for the purpose of your booking or enquiry.
We do not pass your data on to any other persons or organisations unless legally required to do so by UK law.
We retain your form data for a period of six months after which we delete it. Your data in the form of a site booking will still be retained until the booking has taken place.

How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognise and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
Information that we have been given by you via this website in order to administer your use of the site/activities will be retained by us for up six months after the date of your site visit & will then be deleted from our system.
Completed Emergency Contact Forms are to be handed to the Duty Warden on arrival & will be stored securely in the office in case needed. On final departure from the site, the group leader can either take the form back or the Duty Warden can securely shred the document in the office. These forms are only held by us during your groups stay on site & are not retained by us in any format once you leave.
